Celebrating unity and charting India’s printing future
The Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) held its executive meeting on October 19, 2025, at Yellow Chilli, Sarabha Nagar, chaired by President Mr. Parveen Aggarwal. The meeting focused on strengthening OPA’s 37-year legacy of advancing the ₹22,000 crore Indian printing and packaging industry through active member engagement and major events, notably OPA’s role as a supporting association for All in Print China 2026.

Ludhiana, October 21, 2025: The Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) held its executive meeting on October 19, 2025, at Yellow Chilli, Sarabha Nagar, chaired by President Mr. Parveen Aggarwal. The meeting focused on strengthening OPA’s 37-year legacy of advancing the ₹22,000 crore Indian printing and packaging industry through active member engagement and major events, notably OPA’s role as a supporting association for All in Print China 2026.
OPA announced its support for All in Print China, set for October 12–16, 2026, in Shanghai, targeting over 200 Indian participants, surpassing 2024’s 150. The association will host the Print Olympiad 2026 Finale and an India Day celebration to highlight India’s printing industry, with details shared via https://opaindia.in, membership databases, and regional meetings.
Planning for the 7th Print Olympiad is progressing, with Prof. Madhura Mahajan as Chief Coordinator, while the T. Prasad Memorial Print Competition is now a national-level event for diploma students. The Print Shree Award ceremony, with 47 nominations (up 15% from last year), is slated for mid-November 2025, alongside the T. Prasad Memorial Gold Medal presentation on November 7, 2025, at the NRIPT Alumni Meet in Prayagraj.
Following GST 2.0’s implementation on September 22, 2025, OPA held a virtual meeting on October 6 to update members, with resources on the OPA website. Membership grew with M/s Encode Printers Pvt. Ltd., Jalandhar (Membership No. 335), while Mr. Nitin Malik resigned as Secretary, with a call for volunteers to serve until December 31, 2025.
A new rule requires three years of continuous membership for reimbursement under the Think Legal Be Safe scheme. With 78,033 website hits and a 485-member Printers Buy-Sell Telegram group, OPA invites printers nationwide to join its mission and participate in All in Print China 2026 to elevate India’s global printing presence.
