CDSL IPF Conducts Regional Investor Awareness Seminar in Punjab
CDSL Investor Protection Fund (CDSL IPF), under the aegis of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), successfully conducted three Regional Investor Seminar for Awareness (RISA) programmes across Patiala, Faridkot and Jalandhar, at the Municipal Corporation of Patiala, the District Bar Association, and the Women & Child Development Project, respectively.
Chandigarh, July 16, 2026: CDSL Investor Protection Fund (CDSL IPF), under the aegis of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), successfully conducted three Regional Investor Seminar for Awareness (RISA) programmes across Patiala, Faridkot and Jalandhar, at the Municipal Corporation of Patiala, the District Bar Association, and the Women & Child Development Project, respectively. The seminars are part of CDSL IPF's ongoing investor outreach initiatives aimed at promoting investor awareness, enhancing financial literacy, encouraging safe investing practices, and strengthening investor protection among citizens.
The seminars witnessed the enthusiastic participation from investors, professionals, and members of the local community. The sessions were led by Rajudeen Khan, Deputy General Manager, SEBI, and Sandeep Puri, Assistant Manager, CDSL, who shared valuable insights into the functioning of the securities market, investor rights and responsibilities, and the importance of making informed investment decisions.
Through interactive presentations, relatable examples and engaging discussions, participants gained a practical understanding of key investment concepts, safe investing practices and measures to safeguard themselves against financial frauds and market-related risks.
