Chandigarh, November 1, 2025: The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Panjab University, Chandigarh, today hosted its annual Alumni Meet 2025.
 
The day long event brought together alumni from diverse fields such business, administration, and academia. It was a vibrant celebration of achievements and connections. The event was graced by the distinguished Guests Professor R.K. Gupta, Vice Chancellor, Maharaja Agrasen University, Solan, H. P. and Director Himachal Pradesh, FELA-Foundation, Professor Rattan Singh, Vice Chancellor, Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Patiala, Professor Yojna Rawat, Dean of University Instruction, Panjab University, Chandigarh and Professor Madhurima Verma, Dean Faculty of Arts, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Other notable guests included Prof. Sanjay Kaushik, Vice-Chancellor, Gurugram University, Gurgaon  and Prof. Sanjeev Sharma Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda and Mr. Ojaswwee Sharma, film director.
 
Prof. Harsh Gandhar, Director of CDOE, welcomed the dignitaries and highlighted the importance of strong bond between the alma mater and the alumni for taking the institutions to higher level. Former faculty members of CDOE and other faculty members from PU departments and affiliated colleges also graced the occasion. The program included felicitation of distinguished Guests, old and new alumni.
 
The event was supported by Ranjha Vikram Singh Bollywood, Pollywood Actor & producer, Vikas Arora, Brgd Rajinder Singh Kahlon and Gauravdeep Singh. The success of the event was attributed to the dedicated efforts of convenors Prof. Geeta Bansal, Prof. Swarnjit Kaur, Dr. Kamla, Dr. Parveen Kumar, Dr. Sucha Singh,       Dr. Richa Sharma,  PRO Dr. Purva Mishra and Student Coordinator Tilak Raj along with the non-teaching staff. Dr. Kamla delivered the vote of thanks.
