Chandigarh, July 19, 2015: Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU), Hisar is starting the third agriculture college in Haryana state from the current academic session. This agriculture college will be established at Bawal, District Rewari in the Regional Research Station of the University. The decision to start this college has been taken in the recently held meeting of academic council under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Dr. K.S. Khokhar. Already the university is providing agricultural education at its Agricultural colleges in Hisar and Kaul.
The Registrar, Dr. M.S. Dahiya informed that the college will offer B.Sc. (Hons.) agriculture four year programme. This college will be having 25 seats which will be filled through the same counseling which is going to be held on 23rd July for B.Sc. (Hons.) agriculture four year programme for Agricultural colleges at Hisar and Kaul. These 25 seats will have reservation for SC/ST/OBC categories etc. as per rules. He said that this will provide an opportunity of quality agriculture education to the youth of that area of Haryana.
Dr. Dahiya conveyed to the wards and their parents to enthusiastically participate in the admission process of the Agriculture College, Bawal which will be held on 23rd July, 2015 at 9:30 am in the college of agriculture auditorium of the university alongwith admission to Agricultural colleges at Hisar and Kaul./ (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
