CBSA, Landran, Mohali, hosted 5th HR Symposium online

Chandigarh, October 5, 2021: Chandigarh Business School of Administration, Landran, Mohali hosted its 5th Online HR Symposium on October 5th, 2021. The inaugural ceremony began with the address by Hon’ble Chairman, Satnam Singh Sandhu and President, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, CGC Landran. The Keynote Speaker of the event was Dr. Jayant Kumar (Jt President-HR (Head HR), Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd.). The Guests of Honors were Dr.Anthony Erb (International Dean of Academics & International Director of Sales & Marketing, BJLMS Switzerland), Beatriz Lopez (International Business Lecturer, The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands), and Ms. Hien Nguyen (Dean FPT Education Global, FPT University, Vietnam).
The symposium was conducted in two phases. In the first phase, a discussion took place amongst a panel of the best HR practitioners from the industry. They propelled upon various trends in the field of talent management and contrasted the same pre and post-pandemic
In the second phase, two events were held for the students – Case Study and Declamation, in which a large number of students registered. In the case study event, 20 teams participated The idea was to foster a sense of teamwork and test the analytical skills in the field of HR. The declamation event saw participation by around 29 students. The winners of both events were rewarded with cash prizes.
The symposium not only let students interact and learn from the best HR professionals in the industry but also provided them with an opportunity to showcase their skills and learn about different trends and practices in Human Resource Management which indeed was great learning.
