CBI arrests Reader of SDM Kotwali, Daryaganj, Delhi in bribery case

New Delhi/Jalandhar, October 21, 2013: The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested, Ram Kishan Sharma a Reader of SDM, Kotwali, Daryaganj, Delhi for demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs.20,000 from the Complainant
It was alleged in the Complaint that the accused had demanded a bribe of Rs.25,000 for settling the case of Complainant of his Shop at Kishan Ganj  Market, New Delhi for causing noise pollution.  The complaint regarding noise pollution was lying with SDM, Kotwali, Daryaganj, Delhi.  Later on, the accused agreed to take Rs. 20,000 for the said work to settle the complaint. CBI laid a trap and the accused was caught red-handed while demanding & accepting the bribe of Rs. 20,000 from the complainant.
The arrested accused was produced before the Special Judge, Tis Hazari Courts and was sent to judicial custody for 14 days. www.cityairnews.com
