CBI announces reward of Rs. 10 lakhs in case relating to alleged murder of Nikhil Ramkrishna Rane of Pune

NewDelhi/Jalandhar, October 25, 2013: The Central Bureau of Investigation has announced a cash reward of Rs.10 lakhs for information which can lead to breakthrough in a case relating to an alleged murder of Nikhil Ramkrishna Rane (Builder) of Pune. The reward will be given to the person who will provide definite clues/details/information leading to identification and apprehension of the accused persons. The identity of the informant will be kept secret. CBI registered a case U/s 302, 34 of IPC & Sec. 25 of Indian Arms Act on the orders of Hon’ble Bombay High Court in 2011. It was alleged that on 23.1.2009, at about 12.15 Hours, Nikhil Ramkrishna Rane (Builder) was on his way to his office, located at the second floor of the Anant Chambers, Jungli Maharaj Road, Shivaji Nagar, Pune, when he was fired upon from behind by some unknown person. He was seriously injured and succumbed to his injuries on November 30, 2009.  www.cityairnews.com
