CBC Chandigarh's Exhibition Becomes Center of Attraction at Swadeshi Mahotsav, Concludes Successfully  

Panchkula, December 26, 2025: The multimedia picture exhibition organized by the Central Communication Bureau (CBC) under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, at Parade Ground, Sector-5, Panchkula, on the occasion of Swadeshi Mahotsav 2025, successfully concluded today. Various public awareness activities conducted during the exhibition received enthusiastic participation from students, youth, and the general public.

The exhibition, themed “Amrit Kaal of Developed India – 11 Years of Service, Good Governance, and Welfare of the Poor”, effectively showcased the major public welfare schemes, policies, and achievements of the Central Government over the past 11 years. A heavy footfall was recorded throughout the exhibition period, clearly reflecting growing public awareness about government schemes.

As part of the exhibition, a painting competition on the topic ‘150 Years of Vande Mataram’ was organized, in which students from Government Culture Senior Secondary School, Khatauli, District Panchkula actively participated. The students presented attractive and creative paintings on themes such as patriotism, national unity, development, cleanliness, and self-reliant India. Outstanding performers were honored by the Central Communication Bureau with prizes and certificates.

During the event, the program organized by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas was also displayed through an LED wall.

In addition, a random quiz competition based on the Central Government's public welfare schemes was held at the exhibition venue, in which the general public and youth participated enthusiastically. Participants who gave correct answers were honored with attractive prizes on the spot, leading to an observable increase in both interest and knowledge about the schemes.

Detailed information about the schemes was provided during the exhibition through information panels, digital displays, LED screens, and audio-visual mediums. Many dignitaries and officials visited the exhibition and appreciated its effective presentation.

Officials of the Central Communication Bureau stated that the exhibition organized under Swadeshi Mahotsav 2025 was highly successful in terms of public relations, awareness, and participation, and efforts will continue in the future to reach government schemes to every citizen through such events.
