In line with our CSR initiative, we have always thrived towards catering to the needs of local community by benefitting thousands of individuals and their families across the state and country. Walk India is one such initiative that was launched a couple of years ago to offer support to people with disabilities in rural areas. We are extremely happy to start this New Year by adding Assam to be the first state outside of Tamil Nadu which shows how special the region is for CavinKare. The combined efforts of CavinKare Freedom Trust, and employees of CavinKare shows that together we can make a difference in our communities.”

Dr. S Sunder – Founder & Managing Trustee, Freedom Trust said, “With the launch of our Walk India Project we have been able to make a great difference in the lives of the amputees. With minimum training, we are happy to see that people would be able to stand up immediately and carry on with their day to day activities. We are thankful to CavinKare for their continuous support and look forward to many such events going forward. The incidence of disability especially amputation is very high due to various causes like accidents, tumours or diabetes. The demand is very huge from the society and only with the support from Corporates like CavinKare that we can together reach out to them.”
