CATC-64 Kicks Off at GNDEC Ludhiana: 10 Days of Discipline, Skill & Leadership for NCC Cadets
The Combined Annual Training Camp CATC-64, organized by 3 Punjab Battalion NCC, commenced at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana. The 10-day camp, running from 1 to 10 July 2026, will host NCC cadets for intensive training in leadership, military skills, and personality development.
Ludhiana, July 2, 2026: The Combined Annual Training Camp CATC-64, organized by 3 Punjab Battalion NCC, commenced at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana. The 10-day camp, running from 1 to 10 July 2026, will host NCC cadets for intensive training in leadership, military skills, and personality development.
Col Ajay Kohli, Commanding Officer, 3 PB BN NCC, inaugurated the camp and welcomed the cadets. He urged them to embrace discipline, teamwork, and the core values of NCC to make the most of this training opportunity.
Col J.P. Sharma, Administrative Officer, briefed cadets on the camp schedule, safety protocols, and conduct standards, stressing punctuality and mutual respect. Subedar Major Karnail Singh motivated the cadets to focus on physical fitness, self-discipline, and camaraderie.
The camp curriculum includes drill, weapon training, map reading, field craft, PT, yoga, adventure activities, cultural events, and personality development sessions. Competitions are designed to build leadership and strengthen national integration.
The inauguration concluded with cadets taking a pledge for discipline and active participation, setting the tone for an enriching training experience.
