Capacity of HPCA Cricket Stadium shall be lifted by 25% before T20 world cup: HPCA

Dharamsala, December 12, 2015: Dharamsala has been allotted 10 world Cup T 20 matches to be played between 8 march and 24 march next year, and as the arch rival India and Pakistan teams shall also play here and the match is considered to be the most favorite among Indian spectators, the organizers have decided to raise the sitting capacity stadium by 25% to accommodate the rush. “5000 more seats shall be added to the present 20,000,” said Sanjay Sharma PRO HPCA on Saturday at Dharamsala. 
Talking to this correspondent Sharma said that beside this 30 new rooms with 5 star facilities shall also be added to the Pavilion Hotel to accommodate more international players in Dharamsala. Pavilion was constructed earlier by HPCA in Dharamsala for the comfortable stay of the players has already around 100 rooms. He said the HPCA have already started the construction work.
Sanjay said ,” to make entry of the ticket holders more fool proof Term style System shall be adopted this time.” He said that the HPCA will approach Himachal Government for all possible help in the successful organization of these matches in the state, which shall defiantly increase the tourism many fold because the live telecast will be seen by majority of sports lovers throughout the world.
Host India, which won the inaugural tournament in South Africa in 2007 shall meet its traditional rival Pakistan (Winner of 2009 Championship) in Hill Beauty of Dharamsala on 19th March 2016. Besides this high voltage thriller, arch rivals Australia and New Zealand shall also lock their horns in Dharamsala a day before i.e 18th March 2016. Dharamsala shall also host two ladies world cup T 20 Matches on 22nd and 24th March next year.
Six qualifier matches including three of Bangladesh shall also be staged in Dharamsala on 9th, 11th and 13th march, which shows that Dharamsala shall prove to be a very important venue in T-20 world Cup 2016.
ICC announced today that 58 men’s and women’s matches will be played at eight venues from 8 March to 3 April; Mumbai and New Delhi will stage semi-finals while Kolkata will stage finals. World Twenty20 India 2016, will be staged across eight venues in India from 8 March to 3 April.
