Bangalore, December 4,2025 - Canadian International School (CIS), Bangalore, is proud to announce the opening of applications for its prestigious Scholarship Program for the 2026–27 academic year, offering outstanding students the opportunity to experience world-class international education in a globally diverse environment.
The CIS Scholarship Program is designed to recognize and support students who demonstrate academic excellence, creativity, leadership, and a commitment to community service. Two types of scholarships are available for applicants entering Grade 11:
1. IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) Full Scholarship – Awarded to students applying for entry into Grade 11 who exhibit exceptional academic achievement, intellectual curiosity, and the potential to thrive in the rigorous IB Diploma Programme.
2. IBDP Merit Based Scholarship – Open to students applying for entry into Grades 11 who show strong academic performance, leadership in school or community activities, and a passion for learning.
Scholarship recipients will have access to CIS’s state-of-the-art learning facilities, internationally accredited curriculum, and a vibrant community representing over 40 nationalities.
“Through our scholarship program, we aim to nurture, challenge, and empower exceptional students who will not only benefit from a CIS education but also enrich our school community,” said Dr. Ted Mockrish, Head of School. “We’re looking for learners who embody our core values and are motivated to learn and grow.”
Applications for the 2026-2027 CIS Scholarship Program are open now, and the deadline to apply is January 16, 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews and assessments, with final selections announced in March/April 2026.
