Jalandhar : Students of Cambridge International School for Girls of Grade V-X did enactment on Ramayana on 26th November to address the sensitive issue of degradation of moral values, which is mother of all the evils present in the society : Global warming, anarchy, ego, anger, greed and selfishness .
The Ramayana is not just a story told by students through their enactments, but also an educational medium to demonstrate the importance of values such as loving and respecting your family, keeping your promises, protecting the weak and so on. TheSchool used the master piece of mythology, the Ramayana, as a medium to teach children about values and ethics . Parents of the students were also present and admired the enactments.
Ms. Deepa Dogra, Principal Cambridge International School for Girls and Academic Director Of LWES shared her views with the parents and children, that the aim of these enactments was to unite the students with the lost values and their importance in today’s world which is on the verge of end of goodness.
