Jalandhar, August 19, 2015: As   sports   plays an important role in the overall development of a student’s personality, a  lot of emphasis is placed on different  kinds of sports in Cambridge International School .The achievement of different students in various   fields is a testimony to the hard work put in by the students under  the guidance of their sports teachers.

The budding players of Cambridge International School have made the school proud yet again by winning many enviable positions in events taking place in the city.

Inter School Sahodaya Taekwondo competition (2015-16) was held on 7 and 8th August in Delhi Public School, Jalandhar Cantt.  in which around 36 schools had participated. It is a matter of pride that the students of our school won 7 medals in total in this competition.

In Under 19 category , , Aditi and Anandita won Gold medals. In the same category, Harshwinder won silver medal .

In Under 17 category, Gold medal  was  clinched by Sakshi whereas  Niharika , Manik and Aditya won bronze medals  in the same.

On this occasion, Chairman of the school  Mr. Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Mr. Deepak Bhatia Chairman Learning Wings Mr. J.K Kohli, Dr Brijesh, Mr. Nitin Kohli, Academic Director Ms Deepa Dogra and Principal Mam Ms. Kiranjoth Dhillon congratulated the students and praised them  for their  dedication and hardwork which was paving the way for so many achievements . They advised the students to keep putting in so much effort and outshine others in all the events to come.

They extended their congratulations to the Sports Department also for their selfless service and the hard work put in by them.
