Cadets of Chandigarh Defence Academy Visit Military Literature Festival

On the second day of the 9th Military Literature Festival, held at the Lake Club in Sector 5, Chandigarh, cadets from the Chandigarh Defence Academy visited the event with great enthusiasm. The cadets explored various military exhibitions showcasing equipment, historical weapons, and defence technology. They interacted with soldiers to learn about the use and history of these weapons.

Chandigarh: On the second day of the 9th Military Literature Festival, held at the Lake Club in Sector 5, Chandigarh, cadets from the Chandigarh Defence Academy visited the event with great enthusiasm. The cadets explored various military exhibitions showcasing equipment, historical weapons, and defence technology. They interacted with soldiers to learn about the use and history of these weapons.

The festival was inaugurated a day earlier by Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator, Gulab Chand Kataria. This annual event is a joint initiative of the Punjab Government, Chandigarh Administration, and the Western Command Headquarters, Chandimandir, aimed at inspiring youth with the values of discipline, dedication, and patriotism associated with military life.

The exhibition of arms and defence gadgets attracted keen interest from both children and adults. Visitors eagerly interacted with the soldiers, who explained in detail the historical significance and battlefield roles of various weapons.

Colonel Urvinder Singh, Director of Chandigarh Defence Academy, said that such events strengthen the spirit of national service among the youth and motivate them to join the Indian Armed Forces.
