Ludhiana, November 20, 2025: Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond appealed to people to participate in massive numbers in the historic Grand Nagar Kirtan being organised to mark the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The sacred Nagar Kirtan will reach Khanna on November 21, at 3 pm.
In a video message, the Minister urged residents to join the Nagar Kirtan in large numbers, seek the blessings of the Ninth Sikh Guru, and help make the occasion a truly memorable milestone in Punjab’s history. He informed that the Nagar Kirtan will enter city via the Bhattian-Khanna service lane and halt at Lalheri Road Chowk for brief duration.
The Minister highlighted that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is organising a series of grand and historic events throughout the state to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
Minister Sond called upon the people to walk on the path of truth, compassion and service shown by the great Guru to humanity. He reminded everyone of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s supreme and unparalleled sacrifice — laying down his life to protect the right to religious freedom and to safeguard human rights and dignity of people belonging to other faiths.
