Cabinet Minister Sond undertakes foot march from Khanna to Fatehgarh Sahib with devotees to pay obeisance to martyrdom of Sahibzadas
To pay obeisance to the unparalleled martyrdom of the younger Sahibzadas of the tenth Sikh Guru Guru Gobind Singh Ji — Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji — and Mata Gujar Kaur Ji, Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond, along with a large number of devotees from the Khanna constituency, undertook a foot march from Gurdwara Sri Sukh Sagar Sahib to Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib.

Khanna (Ludhiana), December 25, 2025: To pay obeisance to the unparalleled martyrdom of the younger Sahibzadas of the tenth Sikh Guru Guru Gobind Singh Ji — Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji — and Mata Gujar Kaur Ji, Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond, along with a large number of devotees from the Khanna constituency, undertook a foot march from Gurdwara Sri Sukh Sagar Sahib to Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib.
The Cabinet Minister stated that the martyrdom of the Sahibzadas will always remain unparalleled and immortal in world history. He added that Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji sacrificed his entire family for the community, and the values of humanity. He added that today we all breathe in the free air, solely due to the sacrifices of the Guru Sahibs.
Sond also informed that there is no greater sacrifice in world history like that of the Sahibzadas, who at the tender ages of 7 and 9 years gave such an immense sacrifice. The Sahibzadas did not bow before the oppression. In this week of the Poh month, the entire family of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji attained martyrdom.
This foot march will pass through routes including Via Rattanheri (Railway Under Bridge), Bhaddla, Dadheri, Dera Mir Miran, etc and conclude at Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib.
