Cabinet Minister Mundian holds review meeting to expedite devp works; ensure sustainable development
With an aim to ensure sustainable development and expedite the ongoing works, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian conducted a review meeting along with Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Dr Neeru Katyal Gupta at MC Zone D office on Tuesday.

Ludhiana, June 9, 2026: With an aim to ensure sustainable development and expedite the ongoing works, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian conducted a review meeting along with Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Dr Neeru Katyal Gupta at MC Zone D office on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Cabinet Minister Mundian issued strict directions that no laxity would be tolerated in terms of development works and cleanliness. The proposed works should be commenced at the earliest and the ongoing works should be completed within the stipulated time period.
The development works included reconstruction of roads, installation of water supply/sewer lines, installation of tubewells, redevelopment of parks etc.
Councillor Jaspal Singh, MC Joint Commissioner Vineet Kumar, Zonal Commissioner Neeraj Jain, Superintending Engineer Praveen Singla, MTP Vijay Kumar, Chairman Block Samiti Darshan Singh Mahla, among others were present in the meeting too.
Cabinet Minister Mundian stated that working under the leadership of Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann, their focus is on overall sustainable development. He directed the officials to move to the field on a daily basis and ensure that there is no compromise with the quality of the works.
Cabinet Minister Mundian said that he has been continuously monitoring the development works and surprise inspections will also be held in the coming time.
