Ludhiana, Sep 27, 2025: In a move to spread green cover, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian and Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur kick started the work for refurbishment of a park in Jiwan Nagar on Saturday.
The park will be redeveloped at a cost of Rs 26 lakh.
Mundian stated that different varieties of plants/trees would be planted in the park. He stated that the park was lying in bad condition for a long time. He directed the officials to complete the project within the stipulated time period and ensure that there is no compromise with the quality of works.
The Minister Mundian stressed the Punjab government is committed to provide world-class urban infrastructure to its citizens. These initiatives are part of the Punjab government’s broader vision, under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, to deliver world-class civic infrastructure across the state.
