Ludhiana, September 6, 2025: Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian and Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain jointly flagged off three trucks loaded with dry ration kits and tarpaulins to aid flood-affected villages on Saturday evening. They also personally distributed ration kits to residents of Sasrali Colony and nearby areas.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Mundian reaffirmed the Punjab government’s steadfast commitment to providing swift relief to those impacted by the floods. “It is our solemn duty to stand by our people in these challenging times,” he said. “These relief materials, including food, hygiene essentials, and other necessities, are a vital step toward supporting affected families.”
Mundian further noted that the Punjab government is closely monitoring the flood situation and is ready to mobilize additional resources if required. He appealed to residents to cooperate with local authorities and relief teams to ensure smooth and effective aid distribution.
