Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian lists transformative 4-Year achievements of Bhagwant Singh Mann-Government during Samvad meetings

Ludhiana, April 3, 2026: Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian on Friday addressed massive public gatherings during 'Samvad' dialogue meetings held in the villages of Chaunta, Dholanwal, Mand Chaunta, and Salempur. He outlined the historic achievements of the Punjab government during its four-year tenure, stressing its focus on honest, transparent, and people-centric governance. 
Minister Mundian stated that the government has successfully fulfilled all its pre-poll guarantees within just four years. He made a significant announcement regarding the launch of the Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana, a landmark women empowerment scheme. Registrations for this scheme will begin on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi on April 13. Under the scheme, eligible women aged 18 years and above will receive a monthly financial assistance of Rs. 1,000 directly into their bank accounts. Women belonging to the Scheduled Castes category will receive an enhanced amount of Rs. 1,500 per month. 
Mundian detailed several flagship accomplishments of the Bhagwant Singh Mann government that have placed Punjab on a firm path of progress and inclusive development. He highlighted the provision of 300 units of free electricity to nearly 90 percent of domestic households, resulting in zero electricity bills for most families. Farmers are now receiving daytime electricity supply, which has significantly boosted agricultural productivity, while canal irrigation coverage has been expanded to 78 percent of fields. In the health sector, the government has established Aam Aadmi Clinics across the state to deliver quality primary healthcare, and introduced the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana that provides cashless medical treatment up to Rs. 10 lakh per family. The education sector has witnessed a major transformation with the state education budget increased multifold. Punjab secured the top position in the National Achievement Survey 2024, with government school students scoring 18 percent higher than the national average. On the employment front, the government has created 65,000 government jobs in a transparent manner. The government has vigorously implemented the Yudh Nashean Virudh campaign against drugs and formed the Sadak Surakhya Force to improve road safety. 
Minister Mundian asserted that works left pending for nearly 70 years have been completed in these four years under the visionary and hardworking leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. He urged the residents of the villages to continue supporting the government’s mission of inclusive development, transparency, and welfare for all.
