In a significant boost to rural road infrastructure, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian laid the foundation stones for 12 key road development projects. With a combined investment of Rs 278.4 lakh, these projects will improve connectivity, facilitate smoother transportation, and drive economic growth in underserved areas.
Ludhiana, November 12, 2025: In a significant boost to rural road infrastructure, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian laid the foundation stones for 12 key road development projects. With a combined investment of Rs 278.4 lakh, these projects will improve connectivity, facilitate smoother transportation, and drive economic growth in underserved areas.
Minister Mundian emphasized the state government's commitment to modernizing rural roadways under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and stated that these projects will not only reduce travel times but also open new avenues for agriculture, trade, and community welfare."
The projects include the Heera Kench Road to Panglian via Shamshanghat (1.400 km) Panglian to LC Road (0.682 km), LC Road to Katani Kalan to Canal Bridge (0.650 km), Phirni Village Katani Kalan (0.900 km) and 1.250 km), Phirni Shri Bhaini Sahib (0.330 km), Bhaini Sahib to Laton Dana (2.310 km), Bhaini Sahib to Kot Gangu Rai (2.230 km), Gadhowal to Jharwali (1.050 km), Link Road Chak Sarvan Nath to Bhani Sahib (2.100 km), Phirni Village Kot Gangu Rai (0.780 km), and Bhara Munna to Kohara Sahnewal Road (1.920 km). The officials have been directed to adhere to high-quality standards and environmental guidelines.
The Minister also urged people to actively participate in the monitoring process to ensure transparency and timely execution. "This is a people-centric government, and these roads are built for the people," he added.
