Ludhiana, April 16, 2026: In a major boost to local road infrastructure, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian laid the foundation stone for the modernization of the 1.42-km road from Ram Nagar to Sahibana Chowk, at a cost of Rs 1.74 crore.
Addressing residents at the event, Minister Mundian highlighted the state government's commitment to upgrading the road network under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. He stated that the project will significantly ease commuting and directed officials to maintain high-quality standards while adhering to environmental guidelines.
The Minister urged locals to actively monitor the project for transparency and timely completion, emphasizing, "This is a people-centric government, and these roads are built for the people." He also stated that flying squads have been formed to ensure quality across village and city roads state-wide, fulfilling a long-standing demand of the area.
