Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian distributes sports kits to youth and sewing machines to women

Sahnewal (Ludhiana), April 1, 2026: A massive rally was organized at Dana Mandi in Khasi Kalan village under the leadership of Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian. Punjab AAP in-charge Manish Sisodia was the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian and Manish Sisodia highlighted politics of honesty and people-centric governance by Aam Aadmi Party. They emphasized that the goal of AAP is not merely to attain power, but to bring real and meaningful change in the lives of the common people. They stated that the politics of honesty, which started in Delhi, is now gaining strong momentum in Punjab, and the people are wholeheartedly supporting it. 
Mundian called people of Sahnewal constituency as his own family and he is committed to serving them. He revealed that he wanted to do something meaningful for the public on his daughter’s birthday. As part of this unique initiative, sports kits were distributed among the youth and sewing machines were given to women.
In his address, Manish Sisodia remarked it is a matter of pride that the people of Punjab are standing firmly with an honest government. He also appreciated the idea of Cabinet Minister Mundian of distributing sports kits and sewing machines on his daughter's birthday. 
Highlighting the achievements of the Mann government, Sisodia said that in just four years, AAP has accomplished what previous governments could not even imagine. He listed key initiatives including free electricity, strengthened healthcare services with free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh, and improved education facilities. He further announced that the financial assistance of Rs 1000-1500  will be given to Punjab’s women very soon.
Sisodia also lauded Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Arvind Kejriwal, stating that under their leadership, the politics of Punjab and the country is moving on a new path focused on improving the lives of common citizens. He remembered the dreams of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Dr. BR Ambedkar and stressed that AAP’s real mission is to ensure every child gets a good education. When every family’s child is well-educated, our society and country will automatically progress,” said Sisodia. . 
Sisodia emphasized that party aims to take every section of society together on the path of progress and appealed to the people to continue supporting this honest and development-oriented government so that Punjab can move forward rarapidly. He concluded by saying that AAP is not just a government but a movement that is working to give the country a new direction, and this mission will succeed only with the trust and support of the people.
Prominent amongst present on the occasion included Punjab GENCO Chairman Navjot Singh Jarg, AAP District President (Ludhiana Rural-2) Darshan Singh Kuhli, Market Committee Sahnewal Chairman Hemraj Raji and others were present.
