Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh expresses condolences over demise of Mayor's mother
Punjab Local Bodies Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh visited the residence of Ludhiana Municipal Corporation Mayor, Principal Inderjit Kaur, in Doraha on Wednesday to offer condolences on the passing of her mother, Sarbjit Kaur (61), who died on Sunday at DMC Hospital, Ludhiana, after a brief illness.

Doraha, (Ludhiana), April 30, 2025: Punjab Local Bodies Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh visited the residence of Ludhiana Municipal Corporation Mayor, Principal Inderjit Kaur, in Doraha on Wednesday to offer condolences on the passing of her mother, Sarbjit Kaur (61), who died on Sunday at DMC Hospital, Ludhiana, after a brief illness.
Accompanied by Payal MLA Manwinder Singh Gyaspura, Dr. Singh expressed deep sorrow, stating, “The loss of a mother is profoundly painful, especially for daughters who share a unique bond with their mothers.” He prayed for strength for the bereaved family and eternal peace for Sarbjit Kaur’s soul.
Doraha Nagar Council President Sudarshan Sharma, Bobby Tiwari, Councillors Gurinder Singh Bajwa, Narinder Singh, Lucky Anand, Rahul Bector, and others were present.
The Bhog ceremony and final Ardas will be held on May 4, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Gurdwara Sri Damdama Sahib, Doraha village, near Doraha Fort.
