Chandigarh, February 23, 2026: National BJP leader, Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan said that he wholeheartedly and unequivocally condemns the disgraceful demolition carried out at the residence of Sukhpal Singh Khaira. He said that this is not governance but sheer vendetta driven by arrogance and blatant abuse of power. He stated that such actions reflect a dangerous mindset that openly disrespects democracy, law and basic human dignity.
Grewal said that power is temporary but accountability is permanent. He said that every unjust action will be remembered, recorded and answered by the people of Punjab.
He said that to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Arvind Kejriwal, and to every official blindly executing such unjust orders, it must be clearly understood that the misuse of authority is not strength, but cowardice hiding behind power. He added that governance is meant for service, not for settling political scores.
Grewal further said that this action is deeply shameful, unjust and completely unacceptable. He said that not a single fair-minded citizen supports such misuse of power and called it a direct attack on democratic values and the rule of law.
He asserted that Punjab deserves justice, not intimidation. He warned that the people will not forget and will never forgive such disgraceful actions.
