Budding designer Akshit Kapila of Roop Kala exhibits his expertise during Wedding Show

Roop Kala In Touch with Fashion awarded with ‘Best Bridal Store in Punjab’
Ludhiana: A total six designers from across the city displayed their collection during a fashion show — Wedding Show — at Hotel Radisson Blu in Ludhiana on Friday night. Akshit Kapila (21) was one of the designers who got a chance to display his latest and unique collection for the first time.
Interestingly, all the collections were displayed in the very presence of Bollywood actress Dia Mirza who herself also walked on the ramp during the show organized by Rahul Bhatia, Gopal Arora and Krishan Arora of INMYCITI, Thukral Event Management and Wedding Mantra.
The designers included Sonu Gandhi, Rahul Kapoor and Geeta Kochar. The designer Akshit Kapila who displayed his collection for the first time in any show is from the noted family of designers namely Anish Kapila (father), Shikha Kapila (mother), Navin Kapila and Shweta Kapila (paternal uncle & aunty) from Roop Kala- a well-known fashion showroom in Ludhiana and other parts of Punjab. Roop Kala deals with latest designer wears.
The gathering was mesmerized to see the show as latest designed dresses according to different functions that take place during the wedding were showcased during the show. The fashion lovers took a keen interest in the show which exhibited fusion wear and Indo-Western wear for various functions.
It may be mentioned here that Roop Kala In Touch with Fashion was awarded with Best Bridal Store in Punjab. The award was received by Akshit Kapila and his Mother Shikha Kapila from Dia Mirza, a famous Bollywood actress who was Chief Guest at the Wedding Mantra Show. Akshit Kapila who is from the fourth generation of Rook Kala told that he had some great plans for expansions in the future. He said he would be opening showrooms not only in India but abroad also in the future. He has been receiving messages of congratulations after his participation and receiving the award in the show.
Roop Kala was started by Akshit Kapila’s grandfather Santosh Kumar Kapila who first opened the showroom – M/S Santosk Kumar & Sons at Sanhnewal in Ludhiana district. Rook Kala is expanding day-by-day with the blessings of Santosh Kumar Kapila.
The participants in the show included Kundan Jewellers, Palace Jewellers and Studio69 besides Krishna Kochar of Glam-0-Holic and Buzjay Fashion Studio.
