Ferozepur, January 18, 2014: Border Security Force (BSF) has recovered four packet contraband worth Rs.20 crore in the International market in the area of Border Outpost (BoP) DT Mal in Ferozepur Sector.
Giving details, Ravi Joseph, Senior official from BSF, told the media persons on Saturday that, the BSF troops observed suspicious movement from some Pakistani smugglers near border security fence. On this, the BSF troops ordered them to halt but after receiving negative response, the BSF troops fired 6 rounds. Due to heavy fog, the smugglers managed to escape.
