Brookfield International School NCC Cadets Organise Tree Plantation Drive on Campus

Kurali, August 25, 2026: The NCC Army Wing cadets of Brookfield International School, Siswan Road, in collaboration with 26 Punjab Battalion NCC, Mohali, organised a meaningful and inspiring tree plantation drive on the school campus. The primary objective of the campaign was to create environmental awareness among students and contribute towards making the planet greener and healthier. On the occasion, School President Manav Singla, Havildar Lakhbir Singh, and CTO/ANO Anku Yadav were specially present. They encouraged the cadets by participating in the plantation drive and planting saplings themselves.
To make the campaign more impactful, the cadets also organised an awareness march wearing green ribbons and raised slogans highlighting the importance of environmental conservation. They also took a pledge to protect nature and contribute towards a greener environment. The cadets carried banners displaying environmental messages during the awareness march across the school campus. Students and guests present on the occasion pledged to plant more trees and ensure their regular care and maintenance. The cadets also prepared and displayed attractive posters highlighting the importance of trees and environmental protection.
Sharing his views on the occasion, School President Manav Singla said that Trees are the roots of a healthy tomorrow. Planting a tree today is a promise to future generations. We must protect our planet and make it greener, cleaner and more sustainable. He added that everyone present collectively resolved to plant more saplings and take regular care of them so that future generations could inherit a clean, green and healthy environment.
