Brave Nepali Hero Bipin Joshi’s Sacrifice Will Inspire Humanity Forever: Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan

Chandigarh, October 15, 2025: National BJP Leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan, has expressed his deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences on the tragic passing of Bipin Joshi, the courageous Nepali student who heroically saved many innocent lives during the brutal Hamas terror attack in Israel on 7th October 2023.

Grewal said that the news of Bipin Joshi’s death has deeply saddened every peace-loving person across the world. He stated that Bipin Joshi’s mortal remains have now been brought to Tel Aviv for final rites and will soon be handed over to his grieving family. His supreme sacrifice, courage, and humanity have left an everlasting mark on the hearts of people across nations.

He said that Bipin Joshi, only 23 years of age, was abducted from a shelter in Kibbutz Alumim by Hamas along with several others. Despite being injured during the attack, he displayed extraordinary bravery by throwing live grenades away from the shelter, saving the lives of his fellow students. His unmatched courage, compassion and sacrifice will forever remain an inspiration to all humanity.

Grewal told that Bipin Joshi had arrived in Israel only a month before the October 7 attack as part of a student exchange program in agriculture. His noble dream to learn and contribute to society was cut short by an act of senseless violence. Yet, even in those darkest moments, he shone as a symbol of valour and humanity.

He further stated that, according to reports, Israeli authorities have now received the caskets of four slain hostages, including Bipin Joshi. His remains were handed over by Hamas and transported to Tel Aviv. After the completion of DNA testing and identification, his body will be repatriated to Nepal with full respect and in coordination with the Israeli and Nepali governments.

Grewal said that he deeply appreciates the diplomatic and humanitarian efforts of all nations and agencies working tirelessly to ensure justice and the safe return of all hostages. He emphasized that such acts of terror must be condemned globally, and the international community must unite to eliminate the roots of hatred and violence that threaten peace and human dignity.

He said that Bipin Joshi’s story is not only one of sacrifice but also a shining example of courage and love for humanity that transcends borders, faiths, and nations. His bravery will forever echo as a message of hope, courage, and selfless service to mankind.

Grewal appealed to the global community to stand united for peace, compassion and justice, so that no innocent life is ever lost to the cruelty of terrorism again.

He concluded by praying for eternal peace for the noble soul of Bipin Joshi, saying, “May God bless his soul with everlasting peace and give strength to his family to bear this irreparable loss. The world will forever remember his bravery, sacrifice and humanity.”
