Ludhiana, March 18, 2014: Yet again Brahmakumaris, an International Organisation has taken a challenge for better life by creating a Better World by taking up a campaign on Tuesday `Nari Suraksha, Hamari Suraksha'  under the umbrella theme `Call of Mother India-2014’.
Security and Respect for Women by Empowering the pure and dignified image of women which indeed is the need of an hour. Under the guidance  of Ludhiana centre In-charge Rajyogini Brahmakumaris sister Raj, Prajapita  Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya has organised a women prestige walk which has been started from Aarti chowk then went from Ghumar mandi towards Dhoda Sweets, Dandi swami, Kitchlu Nagar and culminated at Brahmakumaris Ludhiana center near DMC Hospital. The rally has been flagged by Isha Kalia, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Ludhiana.
In this rally many NGOs such as Jeet Foundation, Ahsaas, Aagaz Charitable Foundation, BJP Ludhiana Mahila President Sakshi Julka, Punjab Mahila Samiti and Belan Brigade have participated. Dr Neelam Sodhi and Dr Vatsyayan also addressed the rally. The closing ceremony of rally was addressed by Sunita Aggarwal, Senior Deputy Mayor, Ludhiana and Dr. Santosh Batta, SMO, Ludhiana.
Addressing the rally, BK Raj said that this Nari Suraksha mission has been created with a pure and powerful thought of bringing about a visionary change that is crucial in bringing about a transformation in the way people visualise women and children. “We now have the blessings of the most elevated souls in this mission”, she added.
Time to Time this spiritual organisation has worked on the issues that has put the whole world in crises by emphasising on the core values and working on the personality and behavioral traits of individuals in society. Brahmakumari Sister Saras said that International Women's day celebration in true sense by this spiritual family is by providing a safe and healthy environment to all females.
The issue of injustice starts from our very own family by way of gender bias. “We need to infuse the whole new approach among our family members, a soul taking birth rather than female or male”, she said, adding, “What is needed is uprooting our own old believes and getting into soul consciousness”. Indeed such campaigns are needed to create an awareness among the youth and changing their attitude towards the women in the spiritual way.
This campaign is carried out in both urban n rural areas. The nationwide programme aims at educating and enlightening the masses on efficacy and virtues of treating women with respect, dignity, justice and fair play without any gender bias, prejudice, complexes and discrimination. In this rally BK Kavita, BK Shusma and BK Meenakshi have also participated.
