Jalandhar, October 25, 2021: Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical trust aware the students of Innocent Hearts Group and society members regarding mosquito-borne viral infection -Dengue, which is rapidly spreading in children due to climatic changes.

Dr. Nupur Sood, (Consultant Pediatrician, Innocent Hearts Multispecialty Hospital) shared some basic symptoms, causes and prevention measures of Dengue. She stated that fever with cough, vomiting, pain in stomach, nausea, headache and rashes all are the symptoms of dengue fever. Efficient and accurate diagnosis of dengue is of primary importance for proper treatment of patient. Dr. Nupur also recommended to wear fully covered clothes, take proper medicine as as directed by the medical experts, use mosquito repellent creams and maintain cleanliness in surroundings to prevent from infection. 

Dr. Anup Bowry (Chairman, Innocent Hearts) and Dr. Chander Bowry (Managing Director, Medical Services) stated that insecticide fogging has been carried out in five schools, B.Ed. College and Management College on regular basis to prevent from dengue epidemic.
