Book Donation drive by NSS of UIET, PU

Chandigarh, November 8, 2021: NSS unit of UIET Panjab University hosted a Book Donation Drive on 6th-8th November 2021 in which residents of Chandigarh participated enthusiastically and have donated many old books and note-books etc.
 Event coordinator, Dr. Shankar Sehgal praised the efforts of NSS volunteers and residents who were doing their best to serve the society. The drive will be helpful for the deprived children and it will also motivate the public towards “Share and Care” culture of India.   
 
6 STUDENTS OF CENTRE FOR MEDICAL PHYSICS, PU CLEAR SAFETY OFFICER III EXAM
Six students namely Navneet Kaur, Aarti Guray, Abha Gupta, Megha Sharma, Robin Baweja, and Tanya Goel of the Centre for Medical Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, have qualified the Radiation Safety Officer-III examination conducted by Radiological Physics & Advisory Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai in August this year, informed Dr Vivek  Kumar, Chairperson.
The M.Sc. in Medical Physics course is being run in collaboration with Department of Radiotherapy, PGIMER since 2007. The centre has 100% placements for the 2020-21 batch pass out M.Sc. (Medical Physics) students. The students have joined as Medical Physicist position in various hospitals with good salary packages.
