Blood donation camp at PU

Chandigarh: The Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh in collaboration with PGIMER, Chandigarh organised a Blood Donation Camp, here today. It was conducted under the supervision of Dr. R.R. Sharma, Professor and Head of Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER and Prof. Meenu Paul, Chairperson, Department of Laws. 

Over 60 students and members of PU faculty donated their blood. Panjab University’s Dean Student Welfare (Men), Dr. Emanual Nahar and Dr. Suchet Sachdev, Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER were also present for the noble cause. Dr. Shipra Gupta coordinated the event. 62 units of blood was collected and 38 students took a pledge to donate their body parts.
