Blood Donation Camp at PGIMS, Rohtak on Governor's birthday
On the birthday of Haryana Governor and Chancellor of the University, Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh, a blood donation camp was organized by the Youth Red Cross, UHS, on Thursday at the Ch. Ranbir Singh OPD of PGIMS, Rohtak.

Rohtak, March 12, 2026: On the birthday of Haryana Governor and Chancellor of the University, Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh, a blood donation camp was organized by the Youth Red Cross, UHS, on Thursday at the Ch. Ranbir Singh OPD of PGIMS, Rohtak.
Dr. H.K. Aggarwal, Vice Chancellor of Pt. Bhagwat Vidya Sharma University of Health Sciences, inaugurated the camp as the chief guest. Describing blood donation as an important act, Vice Chancellor Dr. Aggarwal urged the public to come forward to donate blood. He said that blood donation not only saves lives but is also an important contribution to society. The Vice Chancellor extended birthday wishes to Governor and Chancellor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh and said that his leadership and guidance have always been inspiring for the university.
Registrar Dr. Roop Singh said that blood donors should be respected. Director Dr. S.K. Singhal said that we should keep donating blood every three months, this keeps our body healthy. He said that the institute is committed to ensuring blood supply for patients.
Blood Bank Department Head Dr. Gajendra Singh said that in the blood donation camp, the team of Dr. Aashna, Manoj, Suman, Bala Devi, Rekha, Kamlesh, Sunita, Bharat collected about 82 units of blood.
In-charge Public Relations, Dr. Varun Arora said that all the blood donors were honored with certificates.
