BJP Stages Massive Protest at Congress State Headquarters in Rohtak

Rohtak, July 22, 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a protest march in Rohtak on Wednesday against the demonstration staged by the Congress outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi's official residence.
Led by BJP State President Dr. Archana Gupta, a large number of party workers gathered at the local Subhash Chowk and marched on foot to the Congress state office via Ambedkar Chowk. Prominent figures present included BJP National Secretary Om Prakash Dhankhar, former Minister Manish Grover, former Rajya Sabha MP Ramchandra Jangra, State General Secretary Surendra Poonia, State Treasurer Ajay Bansal, State Media Co-in-charge Shamsher Singh Kharak, and Zila Parishad Chairperson Manju Hooda, alongside numerous district, block, and mandal presidents, party workers, and office-bearers. During the march, party workers raised anti-Congress slogans and staged a demonstration outside the Congress office.
Addressing the party workers, State President Dr. Archana Gupta launched a scathing political attack on the Congress and Rahul Gandhi. She stated that the Congress protest outside the Prime Minister's official residence was an attempt to challenge democratic norms and the country's security apparatus. She termed such protests as unfortunate and condemnable.
Targeting Rahul Gandhi, Dr. Archana Gupta noted that when the NEET exam issue surfaced, he remained abroad for a long period and suddenly became active only when the Parliament session began. She alleged that instead of engaging in constructive dialogue, Rahul Gandhi is indulging in the politics of demonstrations. She asserted that the Congress has no moral right to speak on the issue of paper leaks, pointing out that while paper leak incidents occurred multiple times prior to 2014, the then-Congress governments failed to take effective action. She highlighted that the current government has taken swift action in paper leak cases and implemented necessary measures to ensure examinations are conducted transparently.
Describing Rahul Gandhi as a 'seasonal leader,' the BJP State President remarked that he appears active only when a political opportunity presents itself. She alleged that Rahul Gandhi seeks to mislead the youth and exploit them for political gain, whereas the country's youth stands in support of the politics of development, transparency, and good governance. Reminding the Congress of the 1975 Emergency, she stated that the greatest blow to democracy occurred during Congress rule. 
Dr. Archana Gupta stated that the BJP is prepared to discuss any issue in Parliament, but the Congress engages in the politics of uproar rather than relying on facts and logic. She noted that Parliament runs on taxpayers' money and should be a forum for discussing matters of public interest; however, instead of constructive politics, the Congress is engaging in politics characterized by confusion and confrontation.
BJP National Secretary Om Prakash Dhankhar said that the Congress and Rahul Gandhi are constantly attempting to mislead the public by questioning the credibility of the country's democratic institutions. He affirmed that the BJP is fully committed to the Constitution and democratic traditions.
Former Haryana Minister Manish Grover stated that instead of addressing genuine public issues, the Congress is trying to reap political benefits by spreading lies and confusion. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi's statements are aimed at creating an atmosphere of mistrust in the country.
