Ludhiana, May 6, 2026: Panic gripped Punjab after two blasts rocked the state on Tuesday. Within hours of an explosion outside the BSF headquarters in Jalandhar, another blast occurred late at night around 11 PM outside an Army camp in Amritsar. These twin incidents in Jalandhar and Amritsar have created an atmosphere of concern across the state.
Reacting strongly to the incidents, BJP District President Rajnish Dhiman launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, stating that the law and order situation in Punjab has completely failed.
Dhiman said that due to the continuously deteriorating law and order situation in the state, common people are feeling insecure. He added that such incidents in important cities like Jalandhar and Amritsar reflect the failure of the government.
He alleged that the state government has completely failed to curb crime and that the administrative system has collapsed. The District President warned that if strict steps are not taken in time, the situation may become even more serious.
He demanded a high-level probe into the blasts and strict action against those responsible, so that such incidents are not repeated in the future.
Dhiman also said that the people of Punjab now want change and will give a fitting response in the coming time.
