BJP needs to strengthen its organisational structure in Punjab
In the present political arena political parties and their leaders are leaving no stone unturned in highlighting the achievements of their party, the reason assembly elections to Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh are due and similarly by-election to Sangrur Lok Sabha is going to be held soon, due to the resignation of Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann as Member Parliament. After the split of SAD-BJP alliance the people of Punjab have shown mirror to both the parties. With the division of votes who will be the winner in the Sangrur parliamentary by-elections cannot be predicted. Divided opposition is not in a position to give tough fight to Aam Adami Party at present. Day after tomorrow circumstances can change and how much change cannot be predicted. The Punjab BJP office-bearers have also failed to deliver the best even though they have senior leaders to guide who are feeling ignored. The PM’s visit in Punjab during pre-Punjab assembly elections could only helped the BJP to win merely two assembly seats in the house of 117. BJP leaders of Punjab will have to show their performance rather than once again accommodating nears and dears as observers for the coming municipal corporation elections and Sangrur Parliament by-election. BJP high command will have to review the performance and working status of all the Punjab office Bearers. BJP in Punjab needs a senior leader having visionary approach and knowledge towards demographic conditions and situation of Punjab to once again strengthen the organisational structure and increase the base of the party in rural Punjab. In politics “friends can become foes and foes can become friends” cannot be predicted. If once again the central leadership ignores to strengthen the organisational structure in Punjab, BJP may have to pay the price of ignorance once again in Punjab in the coming parliament by- election and municipal corporations elections.

Acid test for him Amrinder Singh Raja Warring
PPCC president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring is leaving no stone unturned during his visit to different districts. During his tenure as Punjab Minister of Transport had tried to add new fleet of new buses and now he is visiting the houses of senior Congress leaders in various districts to boost them after the recent defeat of Congress in Punjab assembly elections. Warring is keeping eye on the coming elections to municipal corporations and Sangrur parliamentary by-election. It is an acid test for him to show his ability and diplomatic vision to defuse all the prevailing groupism in Punjab. If he succeeds in his mission Congress can once again show its strength.

SAD comeback in Punjab?

Security cover issue
Punjab Government has withdrawn the security cover of politicians including former ministers and MLAs. Punjab being a border state adjoining Pakistan and have faced the heat of militancy when the neighbouring country was playing proxy war in eighties to nineties. Punjab Government should review the security of all those political leaders who have strongly raised their voice during the days of militancy and faced the threat of militants and maintained unity and integrity.
