BJP Ludhiana Holds Meeting to Prepare for Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra
A meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Ludhiana was held at the local BJP district office under the chairmanship of district president Sunil Moudgil. Punjab BJP State Organisation General Secretary Srinivasulu also attended the meeting.

Ludhiana, September 23, 2026: A meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Ludhiana was held at the local BJP district office under the chairmanship of district president Sunil Moudgil. Punjab BJP State Organisation General Secretary Srinivasulu also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, district president Sunil Moudgil said that the Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra would reach Ludhiana on September 29. He said necessary directions had been issued to party workers to ensure the success of the yatra. Harsh Sharma has been appointed its coordinator, while Sumit Tandon has been appointed co-coordinator.
He said that on September 29, senior BJP leaders would address party workers in two assembly constituencies in Ludhiana. He added that thousands of BJP workers from Ludhiana would participate in the rally being organised in Jalandhar on September 30 as part of the concluding programme of the Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra.
He said that BJP office-bearers, workers and members of the general public would participate enthusiastically in the yatra, which is being organised with the objective of making Punjab drug-free. The yatra would also spread awareness against drug abuse and convey a message to the youth to stay away from drugs.
The party office-bearers and workers present at the meeting assured their full cooperation in strengthening the resolve to make Punjab drug-free and ensuring the success of the yatra.
Senior BJP leaders Ashok Lumba, Satpal Saggar, Harish Tandon, Arunesh Mishra, former district president Parveen Bansal, Subhash Verma, Dr. D.P. Khosla, Rajinder Khatri, Vipin Sood Kaka, Rashi Aggarwal, Shinu Chugh, Leena Taparia, former councillor Gurdeep Singh Neetu, Gurdeep Singh Gosha, district general secretary Narinder Singh Malhi, Yashpal Janotra, vice-president Harsh Sharma, district secretary Sumit Tandon, Deepak Goyal, Kailash Chaudhary, Parveen Sharma, treasurer Bobby Jindal, Atul Jain, press secretary Dr. Satish Kumar, Manmeet Singh Chawla, Ajinder Singh, Nirmal Singh S.S., presidents of various mandals/circles and hundreds of BJP workers were present at the meeting.
