Ludhiana, October 15, 2025: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Punjab has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely and unfortunate demise of Ananthu Aji, a young and dedicated Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker from Elikkulam, Kottayam, Kerala.
BJP Punjab Vice President Bikramjit Singh Cheema addressing a press conference here on Wednesday said that Aji’s family has had a long association with the RSS, and his late father was also a respected Swayamsevak, making this loss even more tragic.
Cheema extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul. He said that BJP Punjab demands a comprehensive, transparent, and impartial investigation into the circumstances surrounding the unnatural death of Ananthu Aji.
He further stated that the alleged suicide note circulating on social media contains baseless and suspicious allegations seemingly aimed at defaming the RSS and diverting attention from the truth. Such malicious attempts, he said, must be exposed through an honest inquiry.
Cheema strongly condemned the attempts by the Congress and other opposition parties to politicize this tragedy for their own benefit, calling such acts unethical and deeply unfortunate.
He reminded that the Congress has a long history of targeting and maligning the RSS — from imposing bans to spreading false propaganda — yet truth has always prevailed.
Concluding his remarks, Cheema said that RSS workers have made immense sacrifices for the unity of the nation, and any attempt to defame them is unacceptable. BJP Punjab stands firmly committed to ensuring justice for Ananthu Aji and to safeguarding the honour and integrity of the RSS through a fair and transparent investigation.
Present at the press conference were BJP District Vice President Mahesh Sharma, Manish Chopra Lucky, and Press Secretary Dr. Satish Kumar.
