Rohtak, November 24, 2025: Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has said that the government is merely committing a scam in the name of paddy procurement. Answering questions from journalists here on Monday, he said instead of providing MSP to farmers, they are being looted.
Hooda also congratulated the country's new Chief Justice, Justice Surya Kant, and expressed happiness that a judge hailing from Haryana has reached such a high position. "We and the entire state are proud of him."
Hooda also responded to the SIR issue in Haryana. He said Congress workers and BLAs will work vigilantly to prevent any kind of rigging in the voter list. “The public has understood the BJP's mentality and election rigging and is now openly raising their voice against it,” he stated.
Former CM also expressed concern about the law and order situation in the state. He said since the BJP came to power, law and order has collapsed. The India Justice report has exposed the government's shortcomings. This government is so negligent about law and order that thousands of police positions remain vacant. The existing employees are overloaded with work, and the public is forced to bear the brunt of resultant breakdown in law and order.
