Bittu promises PGI in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, March 30, 2014: Congress candidate from Ludhiana constituency Ravneet Bittu promised city residents that he would try to establish PGI hospital in Ludhiana, so the city residents would get international level treatment in the city at lesser expenses.
Bittu was addressing an election meeting at Hargobind Nagar.
Addressing the gathering, Bittu said Ludhiana has big hospitals, but the people have been forced to go to PGI Chandigarh or Rajindra Hospital, Patiala for cheap and quality treatment.
He said, health is basic amenity and he promises to establish an international standard hospital in Ludhiana.
Slamming SAD-BJP alliance Bittu said the state government has failed to keep its promises. The state government has been making castles in the air and the people of Punjab have been annoyed with the hollow claims of the alliance.
He further added that the state government had promised to increase old age pension upto Rs. 1,000, but failed to keep promises. The pensioners have been not getting the pension.
