Birthday of Shaheed Bhagat Singh celebrated in Khalsa College

Jalandhar: Birthday of Shaheed Bhagat Singh was celebrated in Lyallpur Khalsa College today.  Paying tribute to the martyr,  the College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra said that the country was enjoying freedom because of the sacrifices made by the great patriots and martyrs like Bhagat Singh. He urged the  youth of the nation to stand true to the ideals set by the freedom fighters.  In this event organised by the college History Department, a poster making competition was organised in which the students made posters on the theme of national integration. 

The occasion  was witnessed by the presence of the senior teachers of the college. Vote of thanks was given by the department head Dr. Suman Chopra.
