Over the years, his birthday celebrations have included food distribution, assistance for underprivileged families, orphaned children, children with special needs and senior citizens, along with blood donation initiatives.

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): A birthday may be an occasion for parties and celebrations for many, but for Dr. Yogesh Lakhani, Chairman and Managing Director of Bright Outdoor Media Limited, it has become a tradition of sharing happiness with people in need. Over the years, his birthday celebrations have included food distribution, assistance for underprivileged families, orphaned children, children with special needs and senior citizens, along with blood donation initiatives.
Dr. Lakhani’s journey, which began in 1980 with limited resources, started with railway platform boards, wall paintings, banners and poster frames and eventually grew into a listed media company. In March 2023, Bright Outdoor Media became the first OOH media company in India to be listed on the BSE SME platform.
Across a journey spanning more than four decades, Dr. Lakhani credits his success to hard work, the blessings of his parents and the grace of God. This year, his birthday falls on September 25, coinciding with the day of Ganesh Visarjan.
Instead of a traditional party, he is preparing to spend the day among people, seek their blessings and make the occasion meaningful.
For Dr. Lakhani, true success is not merely about achieving professional milestones, but about extending the happiness that comes with those achievements to people in need and making a positive difference in their lives.
