The initiative aimed to provide relief to birds by ensuring access to clean and safe drinking water during the intense heat.
Students participated with great enthusiasm, placing bird baths in school gardens, public parks, and nearby residential colonies. These simple yet impactful installations carried the message of kindness, empathy, and environmental stewardship.
Speaking about the activity, Principal Sangeeta Nistandra remarked, “This activity not only helps birds survive the harsh summer but also instills a sense of responsibility and empathy in young minds toward all living beings.”
Students also took pledges to regularly clean and refill the bird baths, reinforcing the idea that small acts of care can go a long way in nurturing a culture of coexistence with nature.
