Bicycle Rally organized by Doaba College

Jalandhar, September 29, 2022: DCJ bikers club of Doaba College Jalandhar along with NSS unit organized bicycle rally under the banner of "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat'' to celebrate 115th birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Thirty members from DCJ bikers club, teaching staff, and Hawk riders participated in this rally. 

Dr. Gurbeer Singh Gill (Cardiologist, Janta Hospital, Jalandhar), great grandson of Shaheed Banta Singh Sanghwal was the chief guest. Principal Pardeep Bhandari welcomed the chief guest and paid tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh. He motivated students to imbibe the qualities of national integration. Prof. Ominder Johal formally introduced the Chief guest to the audience and thanked him for joining in the flag hoisting ceremony.

Dr. Suresh Mago presented a formal vote of thanks. The bicycle really started at 7:00 AM and reached Ballan village by 7:30 AM. Dr. Suresh Mago demonstrated physical exercises to students, encouraged them to adopt a healthy lifestyle and expressed his gratitude towards dignities present there. Prof. Sukhwinder Singh was the anchor of the programme. Students were given refreshments and the contingent reached Doaba College Jalandhar at 8:30 AM.
