Chandigarh, March 7, 2022: Award winning young bodybuilder, Bharat Singh Walia, a DAV College Chandigarh pass out, has secured second place in Classic Physique category, winning a Silver medal at the Arnold Classic 2022 show, held at Columbus, Ohio (USA). Arnold Classic is considered second in the Bodybuilding Industry after Mr Olympia.
 
Bharat Singh Walia said, “It was a great experience competing in the Arnold Classic show. Best athletes from around the world and the level of Bodybuilding I saw there is just a way beyond. My goal is to become the world's best classic bodybuilder and promote our Sanatan Dharma culture around the world,” added the bodybuilder.
 
Bharat further added, “To qualify for Mr Olympia, I need to win an IFBB Pro Card by winning one of the Amateur shows. As I switched my federation, I will have to win the Pro athlete status to compete in the biggest bodybuilding show of the world. I will be trying for the Pro card in the next show which is on March 26, 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand.”
 
25-year old Bharat, a pure vegetarian by choice and a big devotee of Lord Shiva, wants the people of the world to understand that for being strong and fit, one does not need to kill and eat animals. Plant based diet provides everything a human body requires. Bharat won the Musclemania Mr America 2021 Classic Physique Overall Championship at Las Vegas, Nevada (USA) in November, 2021. Earlier, he won the titles like Mr Chandigarh, Mr Panjab University (2015), Mr Inter-University National (2016), Musclemania Mr India (2017), and Musclemania Mr Universe 2019, held in Miami, USA.
 
Bharat has more than 6 lakh followers on social media. He is also a coach, a gym and supplements store owner and helps people to become fit. He has become famous among the younger generation because of his achievements and thinking. He started shaping his body at a gym at the age of 15 years. He first took part in a bodybuilding competition in 2016, while he was at the DAV Chandigarh.
