Panchkula, August 5, 2025: Purushottam Das Rungta Charitable Trust successfully organized its 176th Community Kitchen , ‘Bhandara', in Industrial Area, Phase I, Panchkula.The Bhandara brought together hundreds of individuals from various socio-economic and religious backgrounds, offering them a wholesome, freshly prepared meal in an inclusive and respectful setting.
Speaking on the occasion, Amitabh Rungta, Founder of the Trust, emphasized the deeper social significance of such gatherings. He said, “ A 'bhandara' gives a fillip to community culture as it foster's mutual respect, harmony, and equality. When people from all walks of life have a meal at a common place , created by 'bhandaras' all barriers dissolve.”
The 176th Bhandara, was made possible by a team of dedicated volunteers and supporters of the Trust. Their collective effort not only nourishes bodies but also nurtures community spirit—especially in urban and industrial areas where social isolation is increasingly common.
