Bhagwant Mann’s Reckless Lies and Political Drama Expose His Governance Failure: Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan

Ludhiana, March 16, 2026: National BJP leader, Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan launched a sharp attack on Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann accusing him of spreading misinformation panic and political propaganda to hide the failures of his own government.
In a strongly worded statement Grewal wrote on his social media platform X that it is highly irresponsible and shameful that while occupying the constitutional office of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is deliberately misleading the people of the country by making baseless allegations against the Union Government.
Grewal said that Mann’s claim that the alleged oil and LPG crisis in the country is a result of the foreign policy failure of the National Democratic Alliance government is nothing but a desperate attempt to divert attention from the collapsing governance in Punjab.
He said the foreign policy led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strengthened India’s global stature and strategic influence across the world and reckless statements by leaders like Bhagwant Mann only expose their lack of understanding of international diplomacy.
Launching a direct attack Grewal said it is ironic that a Chief Minister who has failed to control drugs law and order and administrative chaos in Punjab is now attempting to lecture the nation on foreign policy and global affairs.
He further condemned Mann for dragging the name of Union Home Minister Amit Shah into political theatrics regarding cross border drug trafficking. Grewal said instead of indulging in blame games the Punjab government must answer why drug smuggling continues to flourish under its watch.
Grewal also rejected Mann’s remarks questioning the Prime Minister’s foreign visits and India’s international relations stating that such comments insult the diplomatic efforts that have expanded India’s economic partnerships strategic alliances and global leadership.
“Instead of making irresponsible statements on national security foreign policy and international diplomacy the Chief Minister should first answer the people of Punjab about deteriorating law and order rampant drug trafficking fiscal mismanagement and administrative paralysis in the state” Grewal said.
He added that the people of Punjab are fully aware that such provocative and misleading statements are nothing but a political cover up for the complete governance failure of the state government.
Grewal warned that creating unnecessary panic among citizens and spreading false narratives for political mileage is unbecoming of a Chief Minister and undermines the dignity of the constitutional office.
“Leaders who cannot manage their own state have no moral authority to lecture the nation on foreign policy diplomacy or economic management” Grewal said.
