Bengali community celebrates festival of Maa Saraswati with faith, enthusiasm and gaiety at Rohtak.
Saraswati Puja, the festival of Maa Saraswati, the goddess of learning, was celebrated on Sunday at PG Doctors Park located at local PGIMS with full faith, enthusiasm and gaiety.

Rohtak, February 2, 2025: Saraswati Puja, the festival of Maa Saraswati, the goddess of learning, was celebrated on Sunday at PG Doctors Park located at local PGIMS with full faith, enthusiasm and gaiety.
Bengali community members of Rohtak including doctors participated in this Saraswati Puja festival. Maa Saraswati was worshipped by offering traditional floral tribute and flowers, fruits, sweets. Maha-Aarti was also performed by the devotees and the devotees took the prasad. Chanting the mantra Ya Devi Sarva Bhuteshu Vidya: Rupena Sansthya, Namastasya, Namastasya, Namastasya Namo: Namah, the devotees worshipped Maa Saraswati. Dr. Sagar Sharma and Dr. Prajjwal organized this Saraswati Puja and Basant Panchami festival.
The celebratory event was attended by MDU Director Public Relations Sunit Mukherjee, Dr. Varun Arora, Dr. Ajay Sheoran, IHM Principal Incharge Sanjib Dey, Pijush Nandy, Kapil Batra along with other members of the PGIMS community and family members, UG/PG students and medical staff members.
